Our women are free : gender and ethnicity in the Hindukush
Maggi explored the lives of women among the Kalasha, a tiny community of 3000 people who live, dance, and practice their indigenous religion in Pakistan's North-West Frontier province. They are the only remaining practitioners of cultural and religious traditions that once extended across the Hindukush into Afghanistan.
